Find Your Calling in Nursing Care at VMRC

VMRC will host a nursing job fair for anyone who wants a professional change or is simply curious about what we offer. The event will provide heavy refreshments and on-the-spot interviews. 

Consider joining nurses like Kara Taylor, LPN and Care Guide in VMRC’s Woodland Park neighborhood. Her career at VMRC has been one of continuous learning and growth. 

“Working here while going through nursing school was a great opportunity,” Kara explains. "The things you learn in class directly relate to what you're doing at work."

After graduating, Kara transitioned into an LPN role in transitional care, where she gained hands-on experience treating patients recovering from surgeries and illnesses. Five years later, when the care guide position became available, Kara knew it was the next step in her career. 

"I always wanted to grow within the company," she says. Now, in her new role, Kara's journey is a testament to the opportunities for professional growth at VMRC and the rewarding experience of making a difference in residents' lives every day.

For anyone interested in the medical field, Kara can’t recommend VMRC enough.
